HOW TO SEARCH OR SUGGEST AN IDEA:

1. type a sentence with up to 50 characters, with the most relevant words first.

2. the page may tell something like "A similar or identical entry found" below. If there is really something similar, click on it.

3. if no similar idea is listed, click on "Share your idea" at the right bottom. Another form will appear where you can write in further detail about your idea.

Please do not expect quick replies. This is mainly to allow others to vote on ideas, and I will then reply to ideas with the most votes received.

instant search command line option

Add a command line option that immediatelly takes in a text to find (maybe -find \"text\"). This would allow for automation, like calling DView from other apps or scripts with a prepared search text.

configurable hot keys for built-in functions

allow the user to map any function, for example "toggle case sensitive search" or "delete current line in editor", to a self-defined hot key, to allow emulation of input schemes of other text editors or IDE's.

editor: duplicate current line by a hotkey

while editing text, a hotkey may duplicate the current line of text instantly (without the need to CTRL+SHIFT+click into it, and then to paste).
